Crispy and tender fried chicken and fries and I also had the rice cake it was pretty good but I don’t like the green cabbage inside and maybe more fish cake will be better. Overall it is a good place to try fried chicken.
I was in the area, saw Chicken Plus and was surprised that this place is underrated and kicking myself in the head why I haven't tried this place sooner. They have a daily Lunch Special with boneless fried chicken, fries and coleslaw. Tried the Original Crispy Chicken and is one of the juiciest and crispiest Korean Fried Chicken I've ever tried. It has a nice crispy batter on the outside while juicy and moist chicken on the inside. The chicken is also least oily and non-greasy but a lot more flavourful compared to other fried chicken. They also give generous portions so totally worth the price you paid. The fries and coleslaw were amazing and I really enjoyed them. In one corner they're also selling Korean snacks such as Shrimp Crackers, Buldak Ramen, Haitai Choco Cake. Service was fast and staff were great. Definitely will be back and for sure will try their other chicken flavours.
We ordered the Small Snowing Cheese with Bone-In and Yang Nyuem Boneless. The Snowing Cheese flavour reminded me of the white cheddar flavoured powder from Kernel's Popcorn. I've never had this flavour on chicken so it was YUM! I prefer the boneless chicken more because the meat texture was more soft and tender. I'm glad they provided gloves because eating fried chicken can get messy! Yang Nyuem was the classic spicy and sweet flavour - I also loved the crispy and chewy texture of the rice cakes that came with the boneless chicken - we got to experience so many different textures and flavours!
The lady who served us was one of the most pleasant people I've ever witnessed. The food was really good, too.
Loved the food and atmosphere. Polite staff and amazingly tender chicken. We tried Creamy Onion. Would definitely recommend and would love to visit again to try their other dishes.
The staff were friendly and very attentive. It was very busy when we stopped in and we really enjoyed the boneless chicken with the traditional Korean style red sauce. They did have both alcoholic and non alcoholic options for drinks. The location is not accessible for persons with a disability as there are stairs for the entrance and to get to the washrooms.
Love the place. It’s located in a convenient location in Liberty village right off the 504 stop (king and Atlantic). The shop offers a good variety of type of died chicken. The service is very pleasant and fast and the wings are made fresh on the spot. Today I’ve ordered the Creamy Onion Chicken which is crispy fried chicken in a special creamy and savoury dressing topped with fresh onion salad. The wings were delicious. Would definitely coming back to try more other options.
We initially tried this place through UberEats and was quite surprised how hot, fresh and tasty it was, especially since it was like a 20 min travel time to our place. So we had to try it in-person this time. Service nice, fast, and friendly. Food was fresh, super tasty, and incredible portions. We had to box more than 1/2 of it back. Will definitely be ordering take out or dine in again!
